In a sock puppet ridden animated and politically charged DIY lecture performance, get ready to process the COVID complicated now, the politics of critical care and impossible repair. Hosted by Jeremy Wade’s 5000-year-old drag alter ego, The Battlefield Nurse. You Ok Bitch?? engages humor as an age-old form of social protest. We think fiction is the best way to talk about the complexity of the present. We work with the balance of intense pessimism and optimism to find the sweet spot of a difficult, cranky, queer version of hope, to dream otherwise about less violent futures.
